Default $550 a month for an IS...Possible?

We are at the end of our 03 BMW 330i's lease and refuse to buy another BMW .....ever! The car is a lemon and we had had to resort to litigation, which is still pending, to attempt to get our car fixed.

Anyway, we are taking a hard look at the IS 350 with Nav, HID, and whatever else we can squeeze in, but would like a payment about the same as the BMW's. I was going to try the Costco method and see if there is a participating dealer who offers discounting on the model.

We're in the IE of SoCal and Riverside Lexus, Crown Lexus or Hoen Lexus are all within driving distance for us. Is there a dealer who can put us in the car for around $550 or less per/mo on a lease? If not, the Passat was on our list as was the G35.

Just looking to see if the car is do-able for us or if we are chasing a gost.

Thanks from a newbie.

Why are you not emailing some dealers - versus a forum?

you might want to try Longo Lexus, Tustin, or Mission Viejo also.

We are not ready to buy just yet and I don't want to waste anyones time when they could be selling a car to another buyer.

I'm looking at around late Jan or so before we commit to get a new car.

My payment is about that (even a bit less) for 3 yrs, but with a hefty drive off amount.

You have to consider your credit score, negotiated value of the car, etc...

Any monthly payment is obtainable depending on how much of a down payment you leave. If you want a lease with $0 down then you'll never get $550/mo.

Sorry...I was confusing it with the Audi dealer we went to ......I was think of Lexus Carlsbad.

Were actually in Temecula, so a drive south or drive north is about the same.....sure wish we had a dealer here. With as many as I see, I can't believe we don't......same with MBZ or BMW.

My lease payment is about that per month. The total price of the car was $41,000 as well, so I think got a decent lease payment.

Depends on if you want to put money down though. I put some money down so that's why I probably got a $40K car with a lease payment in the mid $500s.

How much did you put down? On our 330, our drive off was around $2500. Car was $42k sticker and all we got was "free " floormats.

It all depends on down payment, and if there is any specials going on at the time,(doubtful since the car just came out) I agree with others on this forum that you'll need to contact a dealer to get a more accurate figure. Personally I'll never lease a car.

My IS250 with nav was about 36k and drive off amount $3550. Payments after taxes came out to $498.12 a month.

I got them down to $555 a month for the 350/sport package, zero down, basically 1st month, tax, tag and title. it was a 48 month lease

I need the payments to be under 500 though so i passed.

I buy my trucks, but the wifes car, we always lease as we turn them over quite often, and always like it to be under warranty the way she drives.

It just seems to make more sense leasing than buying does.

I 've had an is300, matrix xr, bmw 330i, infiniti fx35, scon xb, and now my IS350. All these in a span of 4 years. So yes i think leasing is for me.
