Glacier Frost Mica 350 with Invisible Bra
Wow, that is fast. They already have a precut kit for the new IS. I already have it on my car, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the results. Let me know if you want their number.
The place that I went to has a plotter onsite, so they could cut the kit right there, then put it on the car. The kit covers about 1ft up the front bumper. I got the Front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, head lights and fog lights installed. here are the pics. Sorry the pictures are a little grainy. I better check the settings on my camera. I will take pics again on a less cloudy day.
Stock at the dealership
Front passenger side of car
closer front passenger

Here is one where you can see the edge of the invisible bra on the fender. Notice, that its impossible to see on the hood. It all depends on the angle and distance you look at it. The only people who will ever see this line, are people who are looking for it.

Excellent photos!
Do the installer need to strip off any trace of wax (if any) on the surface before putting on the clear bra?
Besides, what product of invisible bra are you using?
Thanks

Those are amazing pictures. I've never seen the Glacier Frost in person. I have been wavering between Glacier Frost and the regualr White. But seeing these pictures makes me think that the Glacier Frost is the way to go. Take some more pictures on a sunnier day.
What kind of warranty do you get when it comes to fading and yellowing? If you have a clear bra on your car for 7 years will it change the color of the paint underneath? How does that stuff work?

Thanks for your comment, Maximus350. So you wax over the clear bra? Would the wax be less durable when applied on the clear bra? Would it last shorter than directly applying on the paint itself?

I'm not sure if it would be more durable, but all the clear bra installers tell you to put a layer of wax over the bra. Basically you treat the clear bra just like it was paint. The only exception to that would be to try hard to not get wax on the edges as it is a pita to take it off the bra.

Hmmm, not sure about a website. The place I went was
http://euroautoconcepts.com/
But they make no mention of the clearbra on their site.
They use products from
http://www.invisiblepatterns.com/
Whats really cool is that they have a plotter on site, so they can cut the pattern for your car right away, instead of having to order it and wait days. Which I think is the biggest attraction. They are in Herndon VA(Northern VA).
