So today sometime between 8am- 10am someone decides to put 3 scratches on my car. one on the rear drivers side door and two on the driver side quarter panal. from what I can see two arent that deep but one looks pretty deep. One guy told me that you can buff the lighter ones out? I think I know who did it but I just have no proof that it was him. I post up pics later.

wow sorry to hear about it, especially on such a new car too. i feel your pain since somebody keyed my car fairly recently. where did you park your vehicle?

Real sorry to hear that. There are some real screwed up people out there that just resent when others do well. They look for cars that have temporary plates so that they can bring their misery to others. Remember...the car CAN be repaired.

yea Im taking it to the body shop after work to see how much this will cost me. This was the first time I parked outside of my shop too.

Sorry to hear that man. Getting your car keyed is one of the biggest fears of having a new car. Check if there were any surveilance cameras in the area so you can catch the perpetrator and take whoever it was to court.

Yeah, any car can be repaired but at what cost? Why should you have to pay for damage done by some inconsiderate moron? Worst yet, the car's only been out for 3 weeks, and you already have scratches that you have to think about, night and day? I'm keeping my is 350 in my garage and will only use it if i don't have to park.

yea we have a surveilance camera, and the only person that ever came close to my car was me and my coworker (I think hes the one)

That sucks, sorry to hear it. If the scratches aren't down to the metal you can probably have them "buffed" out. Is your coworker a hater? It may be worth investing in a car cover.

i just don't understand these keyers. i think it's because all of us just respect cars so much.. i mean that IS why we're so addicted to cars to be part of this forum. but i just don't understand why people would key a car. why does it prove? if anything, it's an action of total cowardice. TOTAL cowardice. and, to boot, you're defacing a beautiful car. why would anyone in their right mind do that, and how could anyone in their right mind bring themselves to do that? they're effectively ruining something that cost someone else 40k. when you think about it that way.. it just becomes so disturbing and so disgusting.

shoulda checked his keys to see if there was any paint stuck on them... that sucks. You should ask to see the surveilance tapes right in front of the guy to see if he fesses up.
