I'm sure most will notice the chrome-on-black Lexus and IS designation titles first. It's much better than those 'Lexus.com' or other advertising frames. Other prestigious title frames I've seen for Lexus include ones with the L-logo repeated on them. Those are fine, but this Lexus chrome one is simple and elegant.

sorry, didn't see your post right away; i will post pics tomorrow morning when it's light out.

sewell price was $28/ea. not sure if that's the standard CL discounted price. i purchased chrome wheels at the same time. shipping was $7 for the whole order, wheels included.

How was the pricing on the wheels? Down here Sewell is known as the "higher priced" parts and service. I bought mine at Park Place. Just wondering if they treated you fairly.

Darrel Diller(Sewell Lex) always gives me killer prices

my L-tune aero kit and wheels came from him.

darrel provides excellent service, 1000x better than i could get at any of my 3 local dealers. for instance, there was a mixup in my chrome wheel order, and he overnighted them to me (AM saturday delivery also) so that i could get them installed in time as a surprise for my husband. he also threw in the "Lexus Story" book as a "thank you". the wheel price was very fair, better than i could have gotten locally, and no one locally even had them yet and had no idea when they would get some.

it looks like the chrome frames went down in price since i bought them. i think they were $44 or something when i bought them about 6 months ago, now they are only $33 before discount. discounted price is $29. the same ones are going for $50+ at my local dealer!!

here are the pics of the frames on the cars (RX has chrome dealer plates). the lighting in the pics is a little wacky; i was facing the sun and the camera kept trying to use flash, so i turned it off. anyway, you get the picture!!

hope the pics help you. IMO, they aren't that crazy or redundant. i don't think people notice it most of the time unless they are looking, in which case the frames just look like another part of the car instead of dealer advertising <<in case you are wondering, both of these came from Lexus of Glendale >>
