We haven't given it a name or gender yet, but that can be decided on later. It is a 06 IS350 Glacier Frost, Grey Interior, Base Model w/ 18's and standard accessories package. A 03 G35 Coupe AND 95 ES300 were traded for it (along w/ some cash). Overall, got a steal of a deal due to good haggling on the values of the trade-ins. I'll try and post some pics later whenever I can find the darn camera!

Congrats on the acquisition...

You can do that (trade-in two cars for one car purchase)? Hmmmm

Where are you located in TX? Which dealer did you buy it from? I'm from Sugar Land.

Looks like a lot of people are trading up their G35's for this car. EROCK901 just sold his car to Carmax, an 03 G35 sedan. I have a 04 G35 Coupe that I want to trade in or sell before my ordered car gets here. Badman, can you elaborate on your deal... did they give you a fair deal on your g35.

the g35 coupe was a 03 auto w/ 44k miles, no accidents.. nothing. originally they offered $22k trade-in. i thought to myself that i could do better. so i went to carmax, got a $23k quote. brought the paper back to lexus and they finally matched that price instead (after making the salesguy go back and forth several times to his manager). i was suffice with that offer, since another one of my friends just sold his is300, and got a used g35 coupe auto w/ 30k miles for $24k! prices on the first 2 yrs of g35s/350z' have gotten quite low.. most likely due to the cheaper interior those yrs, and they are a gas guzzler too. tropheus, the is350 came from westside lexus.. and it was supposedly the first one delivered to a customer from that dealership (and maybe houston?). i've seen the is350 allocation list, and westside lexus has 7 is350s for the 1st wave of deliveries (one already taken by me). sterling mccall has 5 is350s in their initial batch. i was on the pre-order list 2 months prior, and the back log is now roughly 30+ people at each dealership. you still have a chance of getting one of the initial 350s, just have to keep checking if someone backed out. i have a point of contact at both westside and sterling mccall, let me know if you'd like to be referred.. the particular people i know at the two places are great customer-oriented sales people.

in direct sunlight, it looks almost pearl white. but in the shade or at night, it looks like a subtle light bluish silver. it is wicked.

thanks for the info badman.... I am hoping to sell my 04 G35 coupe for in between trade-in and private party value. I just hope it doesn't go down any lower in value.
