The price would be different right?

Wink

First I would like to start out by saying great pictures to LDYNRED and Congratulations !!!!!

On the G Spider Rims discussion..... The rims can be had for approx $1,000 right through a CL Vendor here on this site... In my honest opinion, I personally would have taken delivery with the rims that were on the car... Then purchased the rims separately and gone back to the dealer for a Tire swap onto the new rims... Which will fall under dealer warranty if something happens..
At most it would have costed approx $100 - $200 for the labor fee to swap... Then you could have sold the split 5 spokes for well over $800 and recovered back most of the money spent on the G Spiders and the labor $$$..

Also in this pic it seems that the center cap does not match the rim finish... Its more on the light silver side??? As if its the cap that belongs to do the split 5 spokes... maybe? could be lighting?

Here is the rim I received last week from Sewell Lexus with a coresponding part # for the center cap... # 42603-30590 ( I need to verify that number when I get home)

Not the best pic, but the cap should have the same Graphite Finish as the rims..

Joe,
You are correct on all accounts. The rims can be obtained for around $1000. We did take delivery with the original rims, then purchased the Spiders seperately, and had the tires swapped out. Yes, they will be covered under dealer warranty. Chose not to keep the original rims because my basement already looks like a parts warehouse, and didn't have to pay any labor cost for the tire swap.

Also in this pic it seems that the center cap does not match the rim finish... Its more on the light silver side??? As if its the cap that belongs to do the split 5 spokes... maybe? could be lighting?
Right again on this. The parts department forgot to order the matching centercaps when they placed the original order. We did get the correct ones a couple days later, so everything matches now

Cool!!!

Glad you got the right caps on there now......

Now I just have to find a G Spider owner in So Cal to test fit the Front G Spider Rim with the 225/40/18 Tire on my ride to just how "good" it will look....
I'll even give them some $$ for there time.

As you can see here, I am having trouble picking a rim for my IS..

LOL! I saw that. Of course my personal preference would be the spiders. They would look nice with the BBK.
