Well, it's here! Let's just say a sport package equipped car is way different than a luxury package equipped auto. More later....

Yes, i picked it up tonight. After driving a sport package equipped BMW 330I for the past 4 years, I can definitely say that the sport packaged equipped IS350 has a similar road feel. I couldn't believe it myself. I test drove the Premium equipped 350 and the road feel is totally different from the sp equipped vehicle. While the premium 350 soaked up most of the imperfections on the road, the sp equipped car definitely lets you "feel" the road, ala BMW. Steering is definitely boosted as opposed to BMW's trademarked feel. I almost prefer the boosted feel after driving the Bimmer for a few years. I suppose I can live with the road feel, although I am probably at the point in my life where smoothness would take precedence over sportiness. Btw, the car had 8 miles on it and no one drove it in the dealership! I even told them not to wash it, so I could give the car its first bath tomorrow! Pics will be posted after the wash.

On another note, I just want to thank my salesman. What a guy! He truly made the car buying process easy and troublefree. I just want to give a huge shout out to Marvin Poole from Lexus of Monterey Peninsula. This was my 2nd Lexus that I had bought from him, and he just keeps getting better with time. I highly recommend paying him a visit if you're ever in the Monterey area.

Beautiful. I think this confirms black on black for me with the sport package is the way for me to go. The faux alum looks great. I'm sold. I'd go with the granite but looks to much like my current color.

Question. What is that above the P on the shifter plate, says Shift Lock, is that a button or does that only appear once you have the shifter in park? I've not noticed that before. Also above that there is another plate with a line what is that?
