Congrats to all the new owners. Soon, I'll compile a list broken down by
IS 250
IS manual
IS 250 AWD
IS 350

Of course, unless someone would like to do it for us?

Default Heres mine!!

New to this forum... just got my IS350 back on Nov 21. Coming out of a 01' CLK430 the power is good but a little more torque would be nice, since it is a pretty heavy four dour oh and the humin of the V8 is rather nice tooo.... but the IS is an amazing car so far, one of the reasons I went with Lexus is because I was sick and tired of my car spending more time at the shop rather than with me. Hopefully this will be different with the IS, even though my cat already sounds a little wierd.

IS350
Black w/ 2 tone interior
Navi, blue tooth
Sports Package w/ all the extras
18"s
20 % thinking of getting 20inch or 19" I forged wheels staggered
Here are some pics in the snoww.. hope you enjoy

Thanks man, The dash is blackon the top half and tan on the bottom part w/ the tan seats but the carpet is black also so it turned out to be a nice mix, I guess its the cashmire I'm seeing on here, could be rong. I wanted to get black on black but they didnt have one, had to choose from a silver demo, or the black which was brand new all wrrapped in plastic, HOPE YOU ENJOY YOURS!!

Thanks for the congrats. My husband has an RX330, he loves it, but I think it's kind of boring, plus i don't like SUVs. Hey where are you located in Canada, I'm formerly from Toronto.

If you think the colour is rare, what about the fact that it's a 250rwd with LUX. They don't exist except by special order. I found this one in the showroom in Riverside. It was almost a sign from above when I saw it. I had totally given up on getting one with HIDs and was resigned to the fact that I would have to do w/halogens and get a car w/NAV instead (can't afford both). I was looking at Ontario, Mission Viejo and Riverside (where I live) and no one had anything w/NAV. Then I just saw this car sitting there like it was made just for me. The car was a total fluke and even the sticker was screwed up. It listed Lux/prem/18s/assesory pkg. Why would it have lux + prem!! Everything in the prem pkg is already included in the lux pkg. I actually didn't realize this until after the purchase when I was looking at the sticker at home.
We are still working with Lexus and hopefully will get the $1290 refund for the prem pkg. The manager at Lexus was totally confused about this one and had to sort out their invoice with headquarters so it is still in the works.
I wasn't even considering this colour, but when I saw it with the cash interior, I fell in love.

Smile My GS350 delivered to me on 22.Dec.2005

1. Model IS-350
2. RWD
3. Tungsten Pearl exterior colour
4. 18 inch Alloy wheels.
5. no spoiler
6. Interior color : Black
7. First time Lex owner:
8. Pix in process.
9. Northern Virginia
10. This car is like nothing I've owned or driven! I love it!

Very interested to see how the 350 performs during winter months. I was gung-ho on the 250 AWD, but couldn't find one with Xenon HIDs which I am a firm believer in ---so I went with the 350 and replaced the 18 inch summer hi-performance tires with some good all season radials, but keeping the 18 inch front/rear profile.
I'm enjoying this site! - Musikdok

----------------------UPDATE: from Musikdok on 27 June 2006

The IS 350 clearly outperforms anything I've driven. The all season Continental Extreme Contact tires I used during the winter were not satisfactory even in the few inches of snow we received in the northern Virginia/Wash,DC area. I believe the only answer for IS350 rear wheel drive owners like myself are Bridgestone Blizzak Tires

Additions to Musikdok's IS 350
1. The Lexus Gold Kit ( 18 kt gold plated emblems front and rear, including lic. plate frames)
2. Fujita Competition RAM Air Intake System added. (this is by far the best add-on I've used) Results: much better gas mileage plus I estimate shaving perhaps as much as .5 to .8 off 0-60 accel.
3. Added Tinting on front and rear side windows and rear window.
installed: Madico "Charkool" tint. Results are excllent.
No radio or cell degradation with reception.
