Picked up my new IS350 last Saturday 11/19 and just found this forum a couple days ago. I couldn't resist not adding my own car! =)

Notes: My previous vehicle was a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant ES V6, alas traded in at 115.5K miles (bought new in April 1999). I would consider the IS 250 a HUGE upgrade.

Thankfully, no wood. (Lexus wood is UGLY with the exception of the dark grey I saw in an '06 GS300 on the showfloor... wish that was an option on the IS)

Replaced my '02 BMW 325xi. I almost bought an '06 530i, but opted for the IS. The BMW exterior is better designed—BMW without question has more sophisticated style/culture/brand, (and better handling) but the IS speed, overall interior, guages, and comfort blows the beemer away. I also couldn't ignore the Lexus reliability and value retention.
