i was really trying to find the most stripped down model i could find with the auto. i got a RWD with the 18" summer tires. i was hoping i could get it cheaper. i ended up paying $35k out the door. im sure i could have save a bit if i waited, but this is my first new car and i basically bought it for myself to celebrate my new job.. haha.

Congragulations on your new car. 
May I recommend SCRATCH-OUT to keep the paint looking brand-new? That Matador Red is a beautiful paint job...I have seen it on other Lexus products but not the new IS.

If the Lexus people at the dealership went over the break-in rules for the car.....or if you already know them......fine. If not, PM me and I'll give you the standard break-in rules for a non- Honda / Acura product.

haha IS_250, i have a funny story to tell you. I live in south florida and went to JM Lexus Saturday and my dealer told me he had 1 car taht wasnt sold yet that was in Matador Red. I didnt really want red so i told him that i would wait till a black or blue on beige came in. Its a small world.
