It's important to note that the price of these cars is extremely variable based on which options the car has. Fully loaded vs. base model was a price difference of $6k when I bought mine.

note: I bought mine with 50Kmi, so its not like I'm talking brand new here.

It is salvage title but it runs like a clean I have no problems with it what so ever it depends how the car was hit and where. Mine had very minimal damage.

Is there something wrong with having salvage title cars. They are the same as clean title for the fraction of the price.

Bought my 2007 IS250 from a friend of mine in September 2012 with 62,000 mi. SGM with black interior. Nav, premium pack (heated/ventilated seats, perforated leather, wood trim). Clean title. Big bonus: 7 year/100,000 mile transferable Lexus warranty. Paid $18,000 for it before tax.

End result: Me, happy as a clam.

Default What to Expect to Pay for 2013 IS350

Starting the hunt to upgrade from an 06 IS250 to 2012/2013 IS350. Any thoughts on what kind of deal I should be expecting? I know this can vary a lot, but any thoughts or recent purchases would be helpful.

2006 IS250 AWD. Red with tan leather. 94K miles. Full maintenance history at Lexus. Luxury package: Wood trim, rear shade, dual mem seats, navi (not ML), back cam, lit door scuffs. 17in alloys. Brand new tires. Perfect condition. 15.5K OTD with 42mnth Powertrain warranty.
Credit isn't the best. So when they approved me, I just took it.

Default Your input please - 2009 IS 350 mint, 15000 mi.

Excuse my naivete, I'm a widow who knows little about cars and my husband was the car guy. My husband left me a 2009 IS 350 , x package , no nav or Bluetooth with 15,000 miles and two years platinum service . Do you think I could sell at $26, 500? what is a realistic sell price? I'm hoping you guys can give me some valuable direction.

That would be a fair price to ask given the mileage and lack of nav. Expect to get 24-25k

thanks, if Lexus can go up to and over 250,000 miles and still run - does that potentially longevity bring up the sell price due to the low miles? do the "x" package cars have a more or less lifespan as compared to the non sports luxury Lexus sedans?

To get an idea of what is a fair or current price, go to Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds and fill out the info on your car. You'll get an idea of what wholesale, retail, and trade-in values are for your zip code and car's condition.
