I Also have the same dilema 325 or Is250, I would go for the IS350 but here in Puerto Rico it should be arround $52k. Anyways the 325i would be a bit more about 2k more but I get a bit more power, better handeling and that "it" factor you get from a BMW. Lexus I would get a bit less power more confort better gas and if I could get the NAV and ML here in Puerto Rico I'd be willing to overlook the power issue as MPG confort and LEXUS reliability would more than make up for it. I drive about 20-25k miles a year so I need the perfect compromise of sportiness, luxury and "it" factor.
I find another not so likly candidate that made to my list by accident and I am really considering even though is should not be my type of car.
The Toyota Avalon Limited, ok I'm just 29 and a stock broker and the car should not fit my persona, but I drove it and wow, vented leather seats, awsome JBL stereo, push button start, 260HP, very good gas millage, reclining back seats, rear power sunshade, very fast, and the list goes one and on, all for $41k here $32k for you there....ohh it has adaptive headlights and laser cruse control, only thing missing is bluetooth w/o nav. It has the screen with or w/o NAV. I could put some 18 or 19' agressive wheels to take away some of the old men driving factor.
Bottom line, is a toyota(negative), and as shollow as it may sound to you all in my business it counts.
Any takes? P.S. no time to check spelling sorry!!

I have a tough time even considering driving in a FWD, let along a FWD car with over 200hp. I really think the choice between the IS250/325i/Avalon really should be paired down to the 250/325i, and that decision will likely come down to the test drive.
