Default NEW Pics of IS from TOL and Interesting Reviews

Found these pics from BMW forums, some nice pics of the new IS.

Funny to read these posts by BMW owners, some give the new IS high marks, some are blown away how fast the car is.

For your reading pleasure.

The responses to in some of these threads smack so much of a complete refusal to admit that someone else may possibly have built a good car. Most people (that haven't completely and blindly lost their senses) would say that the IS350 and 330i are both really, REALLY good cars, and that either car would be worth the money spent on them. Some of these guys are saying, "the IS350 is crap, looks like an Alero, blah blah blah" are just plain fanboys. Terrible. Isn't it possible that both cars are good?

Yes!! Both cars are very good, so for me, it comes down to the interior and the reliability of the Lexus brand.

i am currently a BMW owner (but by no means a BMW fan-boy), and was all excited about planning a euro delivery of the new 330i, so i was hanging out on those BMW forums quite a bit....and that's how i found out about the IS350

so now i'm eagerly awaiting the pricing details...if the price is right, i look forward to getting a 0-60 in +/- 5.1 car

all i have to say is they'll shut up when the see tailights way ahead. also, what's funny is they act like they're comparing the handling of the es330 to a 330 and not the IS. it won't have that much difference to the average driver whether or not the 3 has the sports pkg or not. from the pictures it looks like they had a 350 along with non-sport 250. if anything what this event will show a majority of buyers why they should own a lexus vs a bmw, merecdes or infiniti. if i sat in the 350, 3, G35 or C-class it would show me how much better the lexus looks inside and out compared to the competition. lexus has the right to brag cause their #1 luxury brand in u.s.
