On "The List"
Well, I held off joining the forums as long as I could, even though I knew eventually I'd get sucked in. After much research (especially Flipside909's postings), annoying problems with current car/dealership (BMW), and "gentle encouragement" from the hubby, I went and put my deposit down on an IS250 this weekend. Was told that I have "priority" for a fully loaded, IS250 MT in Matador Red, Blk leather interior

My understanding is that the deposit is refundable, so you could leave a deposit and change your mind later. Or wait and take the chance that there will be a run on the cars when they get here and you end up waiting another 6 months to get one.

i forsaw an is350 in my dreams last night. it may be a sign..
so today, i called the local lexus dealer to see if anyone was on the list.
my salesguy wasn't aware of anyone when i spoke to him first, but said he'd get back to me
after he doublechecked. hmm, maybe one day (very soon) i'll get to join the ranks of the 06 i-s list members! i'll keep yall posted.

well.. i guess i had a feeling it would happen.
finally went by the dealer again and this time brought the checkbook.
