That's a very nice 0-60 for the IS350. Very impressive.
Wonder why the reviewers thought that the ride was better in the 330i and the G35. Usually, Lexus scores pretty high in that department.

I just read the article. Good article. The IS350 fell short in the handling category, but BLAZED past everything, and stopped short of everything else (awesome brakes). The test said EPA 19 city and 26 highway, but that doesn't seem possible compared to the Avalon They also said 16 on the 400 mile trip, but every car scored WAY low compared to its EPA rating in that category.
Looks very promising, although I don't think I'd put a car that had a brake malfunction during the test and almost pulled a complete 360 above the Lexus For some reason though, regardless of that, the IS vs. E90 just got harder for me

U know, the more I find out about this new IS, the more I am feeling what Bitkahuna said about it being the spirtual successor to the 2GS.
1. Both cars established benchmarks in acceleration
2. Both cars were autos only in its most powerful form
3. Both cars are pushing design (exterior)
4. Both have sporting interiors
5. Both cars were not the BEST in handling, but still coupe like/sport sedan like.
The 2GS 400 finished 1 point behind the 540 in Car and Driver in 1999. They said it was basically a tie.
It seems to have happened again.
SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES..........................AGAIN!!!

This car sounds great. Those acceleration times are incredible, especially with an auto. Now if they'd only let you turn off the traction control they probably would have taken first. Are they making the IS350 available with AWD? I hope not, I'll have a hard time selling G35X's if they do. Great Job Lexus.
