Guys, be on the lookout for Motorweek this next couple weeks.
Motorweek will test the new IS 350, I thought it was around Oct 15. but it might be this week or next. Be on the look out.
There website says Sept 30th episode but I thought it was in Oct.

If your in the L.A. area, it has the IS350 motorweek tomorrow at 1 or 1:30 on PBS. My comcast provider doesn't have it so if someone could somehow record the episode and upload it, that would be awesome.

I just checked the schedule for PBS and it doesn't have anything planned to show any type of a car show around that time.

5.5s... and 14.0 @ 99mph (the 99 being the most impressive number of all) 
I will say one thing, though - there is no way it's a full second faster to 60 than the G35. My G35 is a 260hp model and my 0-60 is 6.1. Not sure how MT managed to get 6.5s out of a 280 hp G. I realize it lost 20 ftlbs of torque and gained 100 pounds, but I've still yet to see anyone in real world testing manage a 6.5s to 60 in an '05 G sedan, even the auto's.
Regardless, this sort of thing gets me excited for the IS350!

I just watched Motorweek, and the IS wasn't on it. The guide listing said it was suppose to be featured, but sadly it was not. Maybe Lexus Corp had them delay the airing of the IS review for a later date?

I wondered if it would be this week or not.
If you look at my original post, they originally said it was going to air around Oct 15 or 16, so if it's not this week maybe it will be next week. I'm gonna Tivo the next 2 weeks just to be sure I don't miss it.

Edit: The 2GR-FSE is running 306 HP & 277 ft/lb torque. The New IS obviously has just a tad more HP and torque than the pre 05 VQ35 and 05 and newer...but the IS350 is still the underdog with an automatic tranny.
