Default Japenese Tuners...

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Lexus, though most family members arleady have Lexus cars. I'm looking to get an 06' IS350 in Oct when the car is released. I wanted to fix my car up a bit, mainly w/ suspension and wheels. However I hold to the belief that if you're going to tune your car you should choose a tuner from the cars national origin, just to keep things flowing. I wanted to ask if anyone knew of any websites for Japenese Tuners? It would be cool to start up some kind of a data base as there aren't many links that I've found out there, while I have found some, such as Blitz, WALD, evolution.co.jp, and a handful of others to add to that. If anyone has some good info to share, that would be awesome!

Thanks!

Consider searching for JIC suspension, HKS, Volk Wheels (distributed by mackin industries in the U.S.), Work wheels, Apexi, Trust (Greddy in the U.S.)

Most tuners haven't had the vehicle to look at yet to design aftermarket parts for it. In fact, there isn't a wide selection of things out for the 2006 GS's yet. It'll be a little bit before we see a barrage of aftermarket parts out for this vehicle.

I would look at what's coming from Tanabe-- they're one of the few that makes some great performance springs for the '06 GS. They have been getting a lot of positive reviews on their suspension lately.

Hopefully they will be making some parts for the new IS very soon!
