weird that for the 350, three colors seem to be totally unavailable.

also weird that a black color is the highest percentage expected. you'd think silver would do it.

Southwest production is as follows:
5%-250 RWD MT
40%-250 RWD AT
5%-250 AWD AT
50%-350 RWD AT

The 250 will be
60% with Nav at the launch and then scale back to 40%
Also from what I understand (don't quote me on this) that the MT will only be available in the Southwest as Premium Plus and Moonroof (and Fabric is only available on the MT)

The 350 will be
15% with the Premium Plus and the Moonroof
25% Perfomance Luxury Plus Package and Moonroof
40% Performance Luxury Plus w/ Nav/Levinson
20% Premium Luxury Plus w/ Nav/Levinson

Thanks for the info. IS350 = 50%!! I wonder what those Lexus "analysts" think when they see the dealers ordering far many more IS350s than the 20% they projected.

That means 65% with Brushed Aluminum accents, and only 35% with the wood trim. I guess they're leaning more towards performance than luxury for the IS...

I think that most people will still go for black, silver, or red. Breakwater blue just stands out without looking like a Honda. The color looks great on the RX. I'm a big fan of Pearl White, but the white for the IS looks like a flat egg-shell color. Too bad...

Is this the same glacier frost that is available on the GS? I walked around me dealer's lot about a week ago, checking out all the colors for my pre-order and they had a few GF GS's. In person, the color looks nothing like any of these samples. In person it looked like a pearl white with a beigy grey tinge as the sun hit it. I personally thought that it was pretty damn ugly. However, all of these samples show the color as more of a silvery blue.

also, I checked out the Blue Onyx on an ES, and the darn car looked almost black. Is this accurate for the new IS as well?

I got to see metal color plates when I ordered my IS. The Glacier Frost is the same as the GS, and it does produce a blue hue. I don't know about the beige-grey tint; maybe it was a reflection from something else? It isn't a plain silver color, which is the Millenium Silver. The Blue Onyx is pretty dark, but you can tell it's blue under the sun. At night, it will look black at first glance, just like how the Amethyst SC looks purple in sunlight and black at night...
