I wish they were kind enough to offer even external video inputs. Guess that's too much to ask.

all sounds good to me, makes me wonder how the ES will do now since the next IS comes with all the features found in higher priced Lexus models like the GS,LS,RX. The IS 350 base price has to be more than 33k

That list is everything that the new GS has. So in terms of features, the new IS and GS will be the same? Just difference in engines and body?

ES will be significantly bigger, so expect its pricing to be slightly above IS and less than GS... Why do you think GS's pricing went up? :-). ES will avoid competing with both of them due to its nature - it is bigger than IS and less expensive than GS. Whose mom will need to drive IS350? Or GS300? I bet ES350 will be better proposition for non-young and non-sporty-executive people among us.

IS350 base should be above 33k. As to the features, it seems to me than IS will have more features than GS - consider that IS has been designed 1 or 2 years after GS (which was shown long time ago) and wealth of standard and option features show that - for example standard ipod plugin.

Consider how someone posted that nicely equipped new 330i (w/o nav) will cost 47k MSRP :-).

How much do you think a base IS250 6-speed RWD will go for?

Will there be a coupe/drop top model?

a) Should retail low-to-mid $30K

b) There will be a coupe and vert, not sure if it will be a drop-top, however. These won't arrive here until MY2007 or later.
