Impressive looking setup! Did your Brembo brake kit clear the stock rims, or did you need to use spacers?

Edit: I love the stock look, it makes for an awesome sleeper, especially to the M3 driver who got burned by a stock-looking IS300 thats "supposed" to only have 215HP.

You haven't heard??? Well, during the IS300 introduction, Lexus/Toyota quietly released several specially prepared "IS V300's" into production which were equipped with the infamous VVTi equipped TwinTurbo 2JZ-GTE engine and drivetrain. ...then I woke up, and realized that I'm working way too hard.
On a more serious note... Honestly, it really was my intention to make it as if it had rolled off a Toyota assembly line. So that there are no other misunderstandings on this vehicle, "IS V300" has asked that I answer some of the questions. Real quickly, for now I've gotta get some work done, and I will try gather some pictures later...

ISLEXUS300- In Japan, the later model Toyota Aristo produced after August 1997 came with either the VVTi 2JZ-GE nonturbo known as "S300" or the VVTi 2JZ-GTE twin turbo known as the "V300".

squarehat- I was under the impression that they are supposed to clear the stock wheels, but the clearance was much too close for my comfort. Not even enough for a coin to slip through,(see pic) so I chose to use a very thin spacers.
Yes, I too love the stock look, and even with the hood open it goes unnoticed. We drove it down to the Irwindale Speedway Japan /USA D-1 event, had it displayed for the car show...overheard people laughing and making comments that it only had an intake mod. As for your thoughts about the M3 driver are like mine, unfortunately I've only been able to settle a dispute with a driver of a yellow Audi S4. At least he's not laughing anymore... although I'd like to hear his side of the story (if you're out there...traveling eastbound 580/205 through Altamont pass last Wed.evening 9/17/2003)
