A relative with an IS3 asked me to research leather shift ***** for use in the summer. From my browsing of this site, I know there's a TRD one (I'm sure I could get one through Steve Ganz here on CL), sounds like there's a JDM Altezza one (possibly harder to get, more $), and ones from aftermarket companies (Momo, et al). Just something clean looking, no fake carbon fiber, blue LEDS, or any other gimmicks
However, in the threads I found during my search, nobody had any personal experience, pics, etc? Has anybody done this mod (I'm sure they have, given the proportion of CL members who live in warm climates), and is the thread on the **** for the gateshifter on the auto (E-Shift in Lexus-speak) IS300 the same pitch and length as any manual transmission car? If so, there's some nice Momo shifters in my Bavarian Autosport catalog I'll recommend, too.
