Question Is it just me?

Is it just me or does the IS feel loose in the corners at high speed? I am not sure if the feeling i experience is body roll or an over assisted power steering. All i know is that when i am on the freeway "speeding" and the road rolls into a curve it just doesnt feel as solid as i feel it should.

I am a great driver, Do you guys have any suggestions/solutions?

I had the same problem. I think I called it 'squirrelly'. I had come from a MkII MR2 w/ modded suspension and was used to being 'glued' to the road. I installed the TRD Sportivo suspensioin kit within 1000 miles and it made a big difference. I just ordered a RTB and underbraces to firm it up even more but I don't have them installed yet. There are of course a million more options in replacing/dropping your suspension. More info on TRD Sportivo here:

Hey, you should come to the SELOC meet in GA on May 3rd, you'll find a bunch of other IS guys there that have various mods for you to look at and talk about. There will even be some guys en route from AL, maybe you guys could caravan. Also, if you are interested in some real curves and fun with the car then check out the following:

Yeah... i figured it wasn't "Just Me"... but you were the only one to respond. Thanks for doing so.
I knew the solution would be in a suspension upgrade... but was kinda trying to avoid that. I think the car should handle much better than it does, "stock". I have a 1st Gen GS and it although slower in speed may actually handle better, there are body rolls too but i attributed that to the size of the car. But i am like you, i am coming from a BMW 325IC, which would handle like a dream from 45-145 curves or straight -line, all with a stock suspension.

Thanks for the links too.... I wish i could make the meet cuz i am in Georgia from time to time but i have finals right now and actually have one on May 5, so that will be out of the question.
