Default 2001 IS300 purchase

I was hoping someone would help me with their opinion on this purchase. 88k black on tan 17" wheels all service records done which most were performed at Lexus dealerships. Timing belt water pump radiator new tires and 90k mile service completed. From pictures looks like the exterior is in amazing condition no swirl marls or spider webs which on a car of this age and black is something to say. Never driven in the snow and hasbt seen rain much. Interior as well in great condition as well looks like it hasn't ever been used especially for having the tan interior. $9400?

get a car fax and see if there were any accidents. check kbb and see what they say. I'm going to venture and probably say it's around that much. see if you can get it for $8500, but that asking price is not to far off the going price. I had an 01 with 270k+ miles on it and it still booked for $4500...not what I got for it, but retains value really well.

I appreciate the response. He isn't budging on the 9400. I guess everything comes back from the prepurchase inspection. I will go with it. I own an 01 but not as in good of shape so that one will be for winter. This one with only be coming out in perfect weather

Sounds like the owner knows he's got a winner. Is it a manual transmission? I hope the pre-inspection went well. I'm having a clunking manual transmission in mine, which is also commonly observed.
