Default Perminantly Enable Traction Control

I'm buying a 2003 IS300 for my 16 year old son as a first car and want to prevent him from turning off the traction control. At least for a while. Can anyone provide a bit of guidance concerning the wiring of that switch?

If the car is an automatic, just pull the Trac Off button. If you replace it with a blank, he may never know it was even there, If you apply pressure to the part holding the button, upward and toward yourself, it should slide right out one the plastic clips release.

The button in an automatic will look a little different, but you get to it the same way. You may want to tape up the area with painter's tape so you don't scratch the surrounding area.

you can just disconnect it in the back and hide the plug away. If you want to get fancy, buy another plastic cover, and replace the switch with it. Like what the above person said.
