Default AMP Bypass HELP driving me nuts

Hi,

Firstly thanks for looking at this post and apologise if this has been answered before I did a search and could find an answer although some similar issues.

I have a quick question regarding a bypass lead for a stock AMP on a IS200 SE. When i plugged the lead that was originally connected to the amp to the bypass lead and then plugged the ISO plug into the new head unit i receive no power to the new head unit whilst it also creates a permanent power feed to the clock, backlight and other controls on the main consul (regardless of whether the new head unit is plugged in or not). I'm sure its the bypass lead causing this as when removed and the original connector is plugged back into the factory amp the permanent feed to the consul is cut and works on the ignition power as it should so it doesn't drain the battery. Can anyone throw any light on this for me?

Ok so just a quick update have checked the head unit by connection direct to the battery using the red ACC lead on the bypass harness and the unit powered up. So this leaves me with two issues to sort. The first being where to wire the ACC lead too? The second is the bypass harness seems not to be wired correctly as when plugged in it creates a constant circuit to the clock. My guess is the ground wires as i have two but does any one have a diagram of the stock amp connector showing which wire is which so i can trace the wires back through and check each is going to the correct place?

I have also took some pictures of the harness i am trying to fit so hopefully some kind sole on here could help me out.
