thanks for sharing! I've done this job a couple of times and by far the easiest way to tackle this is by just removing the fans/fan shroud. Once that's out, you have enough room to reach the alternator and there's no reason to pull the radiator out either. Just fill whatever little fluid was leaked from the upper hose that had to be removed. This should cut your time down to 20-30 minutes!
