IS250Tom

Hey CL,

I'm new to the forum and would love to get some feedback from folks on the Lexus IS250. I am potentially thinking about picking one up, but a friend had mentioned that there were a lot of mechanical issues. He thinks I should get the IS350. I don't really need the 3.5 litre. The few things I would do to the car would be purely aesthetics (IS forged rims Tom's body kit). I want it clean and subtle. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!

the 250 was a poorly designed and executed motor... the 350 is significantly better, not just in terms of power, but reliability

Thanks for the feedback. I see a lot of IS250s and wonder about the reliability factor. I would assume if there are still many older IS250s on the road they can't be that bad?

I am a little biased but after getting my IS300 back in working order, I love it, descent power, has good looks, and hey 2jz inline 6 you can never go wrong
