Default Wheel fitment issues

I have searched and asked and noone can seem to provide me with an answer even the company wasnt helpful when i called so i hope someone in this forum can be of assistance. I found some wheels i wanna try out on my altezza they are 17 inches i was thinking 17x8 front and 17x9 rear, my issue is they only come in 0 or 13 offset and backspacing options are 4.5 or 5 inches. I cant try them before purchase because i would have to have them shipped internationally and don't want to order something i cant send back. Anyone able to shed some light on this for me would be greatly appreciated.

Personally i think the offsets are too low to clear brakes. and if it did it may poke out pretty badly. id suggest looking at other wheels. Keep in mind the Altezza / IS Wheel fitment is great with a +35 offset and higher on a 9+" wide wheels.

Hope this helps

lol^^^ the lower the offset the more brake/caliper clearance,, smh im running a 18x10.5 +16 in the rear and 18x9.5 +16 in the front... you will be fine with the setup youre trying to get!

Here's a break down of how the wheels will fit on your car. As a reference, stock wheels on the IS300 sedan are 17x7 +50

17x8 +0 will stick out 45mm more than stock
17x8 +15 will stick out 32mm more than stock

17x9 +0 will stick out 65mm more than stock
17x9 +15 will stick out 47mm more than stock

Looking that those, I would go with 17x8 +15 in the front and 17x9 +15 in the rear. Even then you'll still need to roll/pull your fenders, stretch tires, and run a little camber just to make them fit. As for inner suspension clearence you got plenty of space, and with those offsets you should have no problems clearing even big brake kits.

if that stock size is right, your math is off.

8+0 is 63mm
8+15 is 48mm
9+0 is 75mm
9+15 is 60mm

I used this website to get those numbers, I forgot to mention it takes tire size into consideration too sorry about that.

not unless you want to pull ur fenders then i would look into some wheels that have maybe like a +20-something offset.

this is misleading and incorrect information! Just because you were able to fit aggressive wheels with fender modifications does not make it right for you to "claim" this is easy to pull off. Not everyone has the knowledge in wheel fitment like you might have.

To the OP... some questions you might want to ask yourself. Are you willing to modify the fenders? Willing to lower the car? Willing to run camber and cut your tire's life in half?

I appreciate all the advice given. Here is a link to the spec sheet for the wheelss for those with any other questions http://www.cragarwheel.com/images/me...7B3CEB5AA8.pdf

And i dont mind rolling/pulling fenders for fitment just dont want to have to go extreme with the camber.
