Hey guys, I buy and sell cars for a living. I've always loved jdm cars. I had a wet sr20det 240 a while back and I've missed it ever since. I originally picked this car up to flip it. Drove it home for $1600. Previous owner said it wouldn't shift out of first gear and he had replaced the transmission however the problem still occurred. I managed to get home on the highway no problem. I put the scanner on it and both banks were running lean. Looked everywhere for a vacuum/intake leak. Cleaned MAF and Throttle body. Turned out those 6 little holes which bypass the throttle plate were clogged with carbon build up. She has treated me like a king ever since. I quickly fell in love with it and knowing the 2jz's potential just gave me all sorts of fantasies. Interior was filthy, 135k miles, and she was already lowered on adjustable coil overs. Residing in california and having to deal with smog I've decided to go with the twin GT28's and a ref sticker. I'd like to go with a 1.5 LSD, 6 speed getrag, and a one piece drive shaft. So much more on my list but I figured this would do just fine for an introduction.
