Default My new baby, 1300rwhp...

Hi all, I want to share a new baby came couple weeks ago.

A very good friend of mine, bought a brand new IS3000 at 2005, then sent straight to Toyomoto at Miami to built the engine, he got the car to Panama, our actual country by 2007, car making by that time 800rwhp that is NOT bad, but he just put 500 miles on the car with that engine and run the car with pump gas at the highway and blown the engine.
After that in the 2009 he sent the car to a very good friend of mine at Austin Texas, name Tuning Concepts together with Boostlogic, they both develop the car with the BEST of the BEST with NO money limit.

It took about 3 years to do all the conversion to this car, and when he finally got the car back to town, his family won't let the owner has the car in his hands anymore because is a high power vehicle.

Since that the owner of the lexus sold me the car in a good price for me.
here is couple pics off the car
car has a realistic 1500 miles on the chasis and around 500 miles on the new engine.

what I remember, the mods are

3.3 stroker supra engine
custom intake manifold
1200cc inyectors
4782 ball bearing turbo
aem stand alone
hks coil over suspension
supra 6 speed trans
trd diff
carbon fiber driveshaft
brembo brakes all the corners
recaro seats
upgrade all the suspension arms, front and rears
upgrade front end and rear end
hre 19" wheels
racelogic traction system

still too many things to list.

car made 1300rwhp at 42psi, that is a lot of powerr

I hate, hate to be a naysayer, but 1200 cc injectors won't get you 1300 wheel horsepower, no way no how...

1300 wheel horsepower is conservatively 1500-1600 crank horsepower. To get 1500 crank horsepower, you need 1600cc injectors and that is with 100% duty cycle, which is way higher than recommended...

So, awesome build, but something isn't adding up...

Also, billet mains and studs? Half filled block?

I will figure it out the inyectors size, but for sure it make 1300rwhp@43psi, I will ask the chart, this engine has is the same one they use on the supra with 1500whp.

I really don't know about why the first owner change the dash but honestly, I HATE that aftermarket digital one.

it has real alcantara interior though, looks really good!

car is a bit laggy, full boost at 4,800rpm but once you are on that rpm it pulls really damn hard to 8800rpm on low boost that is about 20psi!

Do the IS guys modify the axle shafts on the rear with high HP engines. We built a Cressida back in the day with a Supra engine. swapped the LCD and drive shafts from the supra but it kept breaking the yokes on the half shafts.

Nice build, but 4800RPM you are seeing full boost on a 47-82??? How is that possible? You're outspooling high compression 3.4s by about 1000RPM?
