Here are some pictures of what was once my green sportscross.

A few people have looked at it and only offered me very low salvage prices $500-1000, which I rejected. The one auto body place said they could not even give me an estimate to repair it.

It only has 75,000 miles on it, the interior and electrical are in perfect shape, and it turns on and runs but obviously I can't take it far looking like this.

I've had this guy for 10 years, so it has sentimental value, and don't care about what it looks like outside, I'd just like to get it street legal and running again, even if it costs $3000+.

Does anyone know where I might find someone to fix this in San Diego? Or if I do have to let to go, what is a fair price?

From what I see parts will run you $1500 and maybe add another 300-500 for whatever else under the hood. All parts being at used price with the idea each panel estaminet at $100 each. Give or take, I have seen fender for $50 on craiglist. The hood price will depend but $100-$300. And you got that whole left apron too. So maybe another $300-500. But also consider your time and gas to go pick it up as well. The repair look simple enough. Let's say it will cost you another $3000 for a high quality job with proper color match and blending each panel correctly including minor repaired to used parts. So right there you are looking at $5000. Give or take another $500. So expect it to be $5500 or less. Some shop can do all that for $3500 with parts but you get what you pay for. Just find a reputable shop and put up a good fights.

I say repair it if it's worth it to you. FYI I have seen online clean title go for $6500-$12,000 with much higher millage and some out of state too. So that means rust underneath.

Fair price is hard to say. From a profit stand point $500-$1000 is good. From a buyer stand point I give you $1500. (I am actually looking for a clean title sportcross too). I say post it on craiglist for $5000 OBO and see what happen. You get credit for low millage but get ding for savage title and unpopular tan interior lol.

The title is actually clean, not salvage, I don't have comprehensive insurance and it hasn't been scanned into any repair shop as wrecked.

I drove it home 2 blocks from the repair shop it was towed to. It started up and drove OK, the steering worked for turns in both direction but "clung" a bit, and the fender was bumping on the tire, but it does drive.

While the interior is tan, it is also the full leather option, I'd give the driver seat a B- grade (stiching a little loose and a bit discolored in a few spots) and the rest B+.

$5500 to get this as good as before, including color matched parts, I'd do in a heartbeat.

5500! I guess that's assuming dropping it off at the repair shop and picking it up brand new.if your handy, you can buy all used parts ,sand them and prep them for paint ,get them painted with your original color code by someone reputable and install them yourself.get the rest of the paint restored to get as close to The new front clip as possible. I could not bare to sell a 75,00 mile ispx for 1800.its a lot of work but damn we'll worth the savings and the car itself.

$5,500 being you buy the parts and having a shop do it right. Yes.

I may over generalize my estimate high for the following item needed being at $100 each; right side mirror assembly, R fender, R headlight, new ballast with bulbs and side marker, bumper, grill, L fender, new tires (or patch) and maybe new wheel well (maybe). That is $800 (w/ the last two item lets combine to make $100).

Hood $150-$300. Used/ part of R apron $300-500. Than who knows what's going on under the hood base on the pictures. But let's assume the following with $100 for each item; intake system, broken or damage maf sensor, radiator support bar, R side light brackets, new condenser, what happen if the fan assembly bracket is broken. That's about $600 but we don't exactly so let's say $400 right there.

$800+$150~$300+$300~$500+$400 = $1,650~$2000 and add a few hundred for misc item. . Give or take you can buy some item for less than my $100 item example but some you might not get lucky like the hood. Also you got to factor in your time and gas to pick this stuff up assumed its local. Don't expect to buy anything big and have it shipped for under $100.

For a good body shop RR panels, repair use panels if needed (most likely), to fix that corner, fix passenger door remove pinstripe or redo pinstripe, and possibly blends that whole right side in a mica green is not cheap. Cut, wet sand and buff. $3000 is fair assuming the highest quality.

That is how I came up with the $5,500 amount.

You can't say $1,800 and I do it myself when he ask for a repaired estimate. Not everyone has the tools or skill to do body work. That is why you see a lot of car driving around with grand cannon size gap between panels, orange peel and different color panel. I will agreed with you that OP should repair and keep it being that it's a sportcross and low millage. He did say he would do it if repairs is $3,000+ That can be done but you just have to bargain and fight with the shop.

Just get an altezza front Clip and swap it all over and go ahead and do a rhd conversation lol. But that is totally fixable! Just need the right people to do it!

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I have no ability to fix this myself and would pay $5000 for sure to get it as good as before including paint and everything, or $2500-3000 to just get it safe and street legal. I just don't know where in San Diego I can go. The place by my house has always been reasonable with repair charges and they told me to just let it go.
