Default 01 is300 no cluster lights?

so I have a 2001 is300 ever since ive owned it my cluster lights don't work, tach doesn't work, mpg doesn't work. vsc light comes on when I lower the ebrake. Brake light stays on always. cel is on. taillight warning is on, headlight level is on. been diagnosing with no luck. all the harness seems to be fine. I know theres a very old thread with somebody that had the same exact issue but no solution. any suggestions?

Yes I've checked every fuse on engine bay and kick panel and all seem to be good. I heard someone had a similar issue, it was his battery terminals were loose but mines are as tight as they can get still nothing

Try swapping cluster. See if all your issues goes away.

ill try to get another cluster. but whats weird is all the warning lights on. checked for codes. all I got was an 02 sensor and something with the evap probably a vacuum leak. and the fuel cap supposedly was loose. I think this is why the vsc light is on.

Weird I asked about fuses cause I lost one of the big ones in the box near the battery and my car lost all the cluster lights. It could be a short in the cluster it self hopefully swapping it will solve the problem.

so ive found so many threads over the internet about the same exact issue with the damn cluster yet none of them have any solutions to it. wtf. there has to be something. somebody has to know something. cluster just doesn't go out like that and random warning lights come up. there has to be something causing this. im so lost. ive checked every single fuse on this car. replaced my battery terminals. cleaned some grounds. still nothing.

The only other thing is to check the wiring to the cluster it self but at that point you might as well have a new cluster ready. Check the connections on the back of it and it probably has a fuse on the back side of it as well so make sure it's good.
