Default Is.Sewell parts radiator for auto tranny.

This might sound dumb but does the radiator on is.sewllparts.com for the auto tranny need a tranny cooler? I think the price difference between the auto and manual would mean no, but i just want to make sure.

it clearly states "Automatic" so to answer your question, no, you will not need a tranny cooler.

with that being said, the OEM radiators are known to be weak at the neck. I would suggest getting an OE replacement like Koyo which is a bit cheaper and much stronger or you can opt out for an even cheaper OE one like TYC.

It actually costs a lot less when you have the clublexus discount. I'll be paying 301 with shipping and koyo is 290 free shipping and the tranny cooler is 79 with shipping so idk. I'm not looking for looks or high hp. I'm just gonna have bolt ons on my car. So I think I'll go with the OEM. But I've heard koyos last long

toyota uses koyo radiators in some of their models, so i'd trust it. my 3rd gen 4runner's original rad was a koyo. but with $11 difference it doesn't really matter. you're likely to get another 100k+ miles out of either.
