Default Coolant Temp Sensor.

Hello all, first off Im new to Lexus forums. so Im not sure if this is the correct spot to post this. i have an 2001 Lexus is300 and i need to do the coolant temp sensor but having difficulty locating this sensor. any help with areas, pictures, locations to look would be greatly appreciated. thanks. -Mike, k.

located on the bottom of the radiator, on the passenger (right side). Its a white plastic sensor that needs to be unplugged before you remove it, with an adjustable wrench, 2-5 minute job.

Make sure you do it when the car is cool, and be sure to have a pan underneath as coolant will leak out......

Thanks, yeah did the O2 sensors. the one by the firewall. very tricky. lol. next is this temp sensor been hounding me. i looked and looked.. thanks again. im going to do it tomorrow as it is like 30 degrees outside. and nearing dark.
