New IS300 modifier
Hey guys, so back in July I picked up an 02 IS300 with 90k miles. It was a 5 speed manual with lsd, a must for me. Unfortunately about a month later I had to pack up and move out for school. Over winter break I was able to figure out a little more about the mods my car came with from the previous owner. At the moment, it has a Pro Lex intake pipe w/ K&N drop-in, L-tuned exhaust and some unknown brand headers/y-pipe (I've looked them over and haven't found a brand stamped anywhere, but they are completely catless). For Christmas, I got a Fidanza cam gear. At the end of the semester, I plan on installing a set of BC stage 2 cams and getting it tuned. I'm looking into both the Apexi Safc neo and greddy ultimate e-manage. I understand the differences between the 2, but how much more power will the extra features of the greddy yield? I had no plans on any other engine mods after this. Any advice/know-how anyone can offer on this would be greatly appreciated , thanks!
Here is my car. The wheels are Motegi FF7's and the body kit is a Rod Millen Motorsports

I really don't have the money for that and since I have no plans of boost in the near future thought it might be overkill. Upon recomendation from one of my Dad's friends that works at Titan, I'm thinking about the F/IC 6. Any thoughts on that?

You can ask anyone what their opinion is. But the big question is who is going to tune it. If a shop. Ask what they recommend. If u want to learn to tune with this and do it your self than research each piggyback n see which one seems like u can understand and have the proper computer software. It's not hard to tune. It's hard understanding how changing things adjust each other.

If you aren't going boost, then there is zero need for anything other than the factory computer... many have tried and no one has succeeded in actually making a reasonable hp gain by just tuning the factory engine... even with cams and whatnot, we're talking 10-15 hp on average...
