Need help with wet passenger side seats please
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I'm experiencing a problem with my '01 IS. Last night my girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat and she noticed that it was damp/wet. I thought that maybe I've spilled some water on it through my water bottle being placed there earlier that day, but to my disappointment this morning, the seat was still wet even after placing paper towels over it all night.
I haven't had a chance to thoroughly assess the situation, but I will take a closer look at it after work. I've read around and determined that this issue is the cause of a clogged drain plug for the a/c ? Does anyone have any further explanation and fix to my problem ?
It would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Plugged a/c should leak on your floor. A moonroof or a bad door seal will leak on your seat. There are two drains in the front of moonroof. Open it and slowly pour water in the track and watch if it drains out. If not, i pick out and debris at the top of the drain and then use an air hose with light pressure to clear the rest out. You will hear the air blow out by your front fenders. Pour more water in and it should drain now. If its the door, put someone in passenger seat with a flashlight and shut door. Get a water hose and spray the window and door seal, (about three feet away) Check for any leaks. Good luck.
