I have been looking for speaker sizes and if it can be done and I haven't really found anything documented. I have the mark levinson speakers from a 2010 is-f and i have a 2003 is300. is it worth swapping the speakers and will any of them fit in my car? i have all the subs, midrange, and tweeter speakers that come in the doors of the isf. What can fit and be swapped or replaced and is it worth it? Price doesnt matter because I already have the speakers.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime in but unless you have the entire ML system I think you are going to have a hard time making this work. You'd need the amps and crossovers and all that.

no, i have the doors and im just wondering if its worth putting the speakers inside of em in my car, the amps and crossovers where damaged and scraped.

I'm running infinity kappas all round in mine.

kappa 60.9cs component system up front

and

kappa 693.9i 6x9" for the rear.

FYI the Tweeter for the 60.9cs is HUGE

I didn't make "custom" tweeter enclosures but simply took a pocket knife and "modified" the sail panels to fit the tweeters. I'm sure the factory ISF tweeter is nowhere near the size of the kappa tweeter.

I'm not sure how the speakers from the ISF are designed, as in the IS300 front speakers require a spacer to fit properly (otherwise the window will hit them). Unfortunately the front 6.5 speakers are integrated into the factory spacer so you have to buy them (they're inexpensive I think I paid 20 for 4 of them 2 of which were for the 6x9 in the rear). The IS-F speakers may have the spacers integrated as well, but I'm not sure.

The factory IS300 system uses 2 ohm speakers. I'm pretty sure the IS-F uses the same. Does the IS-F have a crossover? I need to look into that. I do know they have an amplifier, but if the IS-F runs a 2ohm system as well (which I 99% sure it does) you shouldn't have a problem installing them. with the exception of drilling the stupid pop rivets Toyota thought was a brilliant idea.

if it helps the research, the IS-F mark levinson speakers are the same as the mark levinson options in the 350s and 250s
