I'd check them both for rust.

If you like working on cars, I'd get the cheap one. If you don't, I'd get the expensive one.

I say get a newer one, i got my 04 with 140k mil\es for $7000 finance, if you are looking for project or replacing the engine later on get the craigslist list one offer them lower = $4000 cash.
