I was told by 2 mechanic shops my '02 IS-300 charcoal canister needed to be replaced.

Lexus dealership quoted me $498 on just the part.

Anyone know where I can buy the part cheaper?

Also, another mechanic said the charcoal canister are built to last, that it wouldn't need the whole thing replaced.

Please someone help!!

Ebay? They up on top of the rear suspension. Sort of hard to get to. I'm getting ready to switch mine out for one from a GS (cause I'm installing a GS motor).
