Radiator crack... just another thing to go wrong. I don't think a month has gone by without a repair. By the time I'm done, this thing will be at a showroom level.

"Yikes" on the radiator crack. Hopefully the car is in good hands and will be up and running in no time.

Have you done a radiator install before?

Nonetheless, props for taking on the work yourself and good luck.

Ive done a few, debating between aftermarket or OEM at the moment... I'll admit, all of my prior experience is Honda/Ford- this is my first Toyota. Hopefully there aren't any hiccups. Looking at either a direct replacement or a Mishimoto with a separate tranny cooler.

Stock will suffice, but to prevent this from happening again, why not put a mishimoto in there?

mishimoto is crap for one. if you're going aftermarket get a koyo. However, if you're not doing engine mods or showing the car, an aftermarket rad and transcooler is a waste of money. stick with oem.

I'm between OEM/aftermarket- its kind of a 'whats my luck going to be like' decision. I made up my mind to go turbo, but a part of me thinks I'll have rebuilt the entire car before I get there. If I continue down the turbo path, I'd rather spend the money once (and yes, I'm well aware that getting the car built and running is only the start...)
