So I'm buying a hks carbon ti exhaust for $80 off of a friend but the only problem is the very tip of the exhaust isn't there and I'm afraid it might melt the bumper. Any suggestions where I can get something like that? Or should I just pass up on this?

maybe take it to the muffler shop and have them weld a tip on?

Sounds like a good deal especially if it's straight bolt on and all you gotta do is weld another tip on

definitely AND... you can weld on a more stylish and less " HELLO OFFICER LOOK AT MY BIG OBVIOUSLY NOT STOCK AND LOUD *** EXHAUST" ...tip also


when i had my carbon the bigass 4in. exh tip was one thing i didnt like,.. it scraped, screamed "Honda Civic" and is a super simple single layer cut off tube that attracted the wrong type of attention.

I thought of slicing the tip off and welding on a nice dual layer large ovalized SS tip but in the end i sold it & went with my own custom design exh.


for 80 bux... it'll cost ya maybe another 50 to 70 to get a nice less noticeable tip and have it welded on.. such a deal!
