Is300 Heater question help?
Hey fellow Lexus owners, I have a quick question - well seems to be quick but you decide on it . I have an '04 Is300 and the heater seems to have stop working - if there are any mechanics out there or Lexus owners who have worked on their air compressor/ OR recharged their A/C and have found that the heater had stopped working shortly afterward I want to hear from you!! However, if any of you know that the heater would not be affected by recharging the A/C system or by having the air compressor in fine working order and it has to do with something other than what I've listed - I want to hear from you also! Please note : I've just replaced the radiator and hoses and had it serviced completely - but the heater may have not been something that was necessarily checked.
Please respond asap if you have any advice on this whatsoever.. if this is a coil or some kind of fuse then I want to know when I take it in . .. thanks much!!!! SG

there is an actuator behind the glove box that controls the heat, its a blend door actuator.
mine went out a few weeks ago.
remove the glove box and look to the left and you will see some heater pipes. there is an actuator behind them that you need to see if it is moving when you crank the vehicle and switch to heat.
i had to disable mine and move the arm up manually to have heat for now until i can remove the lines and replace it.
