New to the site my is300
New to the site, I've had my 2004 Lexus is300 sport design for a little over a year now. Always wanted one throughout high school, took me some time and just having a bad day and she caught my eye. Bought her on the spot. I haven't done much to the car besides the routine maint. I'm in the Marine Corps so always being deployed never gave me the time. I'm currently in Japan now, my brothers taking care of my baby while I'm away. Tried uploading more pics but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Looking to change out the rims, put in a double din tv, repaint my front , change out the grill with an altezza one all while I'm away so ill have something to come home to. Shoot me some ideas ,

SEMPER FI! where in japan are u? i was there in 05-08 and i got out after my 4 yrs. i use to be on camp courtney in Oki.
u should look there for rims and ship them home Leon Hardiritt Odens are my dream rims they are gorgeous and a lot cheaper there if u can find them in good shape. Te- 37s are another rim that is quality and i think look gorgeous on our cars. look around out there thou many of us here wish we had a connect to get rims sent from there. i should of done it when i was there but i didnt have the IS300 yet i had an 1988 rx-7 and my boy had an R34. my best advice would be find parts there ship them to ur brother and have him put them on. get the rarest parts and have an obsolutely gorgeous unique ride here in the states.

Welcome to the site! Looking forward to seeing some progress on your car.
I don't mean to derail this thread, but I also was a Marine, 6152 CH-46E airframe mechanic. Served 2005-2010. I was stationed on MCAS Futenma on Okinawa from 2006-2008. Man, it was difficult being around cool cars that I could only dream about and couldn't drive or own. Stay safe!
