Proud new IS owner
Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself and share a few pictures. My name is Sean and I've long been a Toyota die hard with my money pit being a 2nd gen turbo MR2. I most recently picked up a 2002 5speed IS as my daily and I love it.
Edit:does anyone know of someone selling an srt intake, preferably black?

Yeah thanks guys. Red was actually my second choice to a pearl white one but I couldn't pass up the deal and am actually very pleased with the decision. As for the lip on the IS being cut, I am not sure what your referring too. It was on the car when I purchased it.
As for the equips. The offset and size is 17x8+12 and 17x9.5+23 so my research leads me to believe they will not fit without a serious roll and camber.
Now to the MR2. It is a fully built Jdm gen 3 3sgte currently awaiting a full race 30r setup. Bcbr suspension, 98 spec all around except wing, advanced keys lexus oem push start smart key entry, etc.
Lastly I don't plan on boosting the IS as much as I would love to. Maybe just an srt intake and an hks axle back will suffice. 450+whp Mr2 will be enough power for me on the weekend/track days. Lol

I just took another look and it looks as though the PO had the body shop that painted the lip cut that portion of it off before paint. I would have never noticed had you not pointed that out. I actually like this look comparing to a standard amuse now that I see the difference. It gives it a cleaner look. Cut yours :-P
