I am planning to get the Hotchkis sway bars.
Currently I have stock suspension.

I was wondering what are the pro and cons on stock suspension?
I would also like to know which settings is the best.

also after installation do I need a alignment?

Should I get strut bars front and rear?

I couldn't find a solid answer anywhere -_-

Upgrading your sway bars will be a night and day difference. Hands down the best mod I have done that provided instant feedback. I can't really think of any cons except that you should regularly lube the sway bar brackets.....maybe twice a year, at least once though. Make sure you properly torque the brackets and endlinks to spec. Some had issues with OEM endlinks on aftermarket sway bars so you may or may not need to change those out too.

I have been running my Hotchkiss for a few years and love them.....I have the Sportcross and set my both to stiff. I think most sedan owners have soft up front and stiff on the rear.....

Any adjustment or changes made to your suspension will always require an alignment so yes you should get one shortly after. The front strut bar is 99% looks. lol Adding a rear strut bar will tighten the handling....I have the tanabe and felt the rear more planted on turns. You should also look into rigid bars and a rear lower brace. I heard rigid bars prevent wheel hopping but I felt like my rear strut helped that as well.

Make sure to keep your Hotchkis bars properly lubed and you shouldn't have problems with them.

If you also plan on dropping your car you should look into some of the FIGs products as far as rear control arms, endlink adjusters and front sway relocation brackets.

heard great things about sway bars. personally havnt gotta the chance the purchase a set yet. looking forward to it.
