where does it sound like its coming from? front or rear? hot weather or cold. dry or wet? did you inspect the calipers when you changed everything? (it could have a seized piston) Posted from ClubLexus.com App for Android

Its probably just the brake pad shifting, its normal for our cars.

the noise sounds like its coming from the front. it happens in both dry and wet and both hot and cold. i didnt inspect caliber when i changed everything. how come would a seized piston cost to replace? is it possible to see a picture of the piston?

heres a pic of a seized caliper i found. gives you an idea. just means that piston is incapable of moving. so it could mean that your pad is shifting back and forth because theres no pressure on it. thats my guess. assuming its brakes of course.... suspension would be my next guess

you could try to replace just the piston. but it would be alot easier to just replace the caliper though. assuming thats the problem. Don't replace it just because i told you too though haha it COULD be something else. I'd take it off, and take it to toyota or lexus and have a tech inspect it to confirm. unless you know what to look for. Not sure of your competence. hope i helped

i have seen it a couple time where the bolts that the caliper slide on have come loose, and fallen out and even broken. I will make a little rattle noise.

I have that same clunk man its not your caliper cuz I changed mine too. if you dont get lexus pads and rotors and everything aftermarket products are not exact, that is what I think. but I have done it all honestly like mars said our cars do that sometimes its just a little bit of a flaw if anything but doesnt stop me lol

Is it one clunk or multiple clunks? I've seen a bad wheel bearing give one light clunk in a backing down the driveway situation.
