Toyota Altezza (IS300) RHD to LHD / Need advice and buy parts! Help!
Hi, I'm new to this forum, my name is Jean Carlo, I'm from Costa Rica. I sold my car a few days ago and I've been thinking about buying a Toyota Altezza, IS300 homologue, but I have to make the change of position of the steering wheel (in Costa Rica only allow LHD cars). I want to know what parts I need to make the switch from RHD to LHD. Where I can buy? any of you can help me get these parts? in Costa Rica's impossible!
thanks

This might be more hassle than its worth... shipping a front clip over there from, say the USA won't be cheap. Not to mention the cost of parts.
What you will need is what salvage yards call a front half cut. Looks like this;
Depending on the shop, they will either include everything with motor, or you can ask to sell just the structural components. It's not easy work, since you have to cut into the firewall properly and re-route some things like brake lines to the new master cylinder.
Anyways, good luck!
