Default JDM Headlights

What is the cheapest price out there for the JDM headlights? Are our factory HID's compatible with the JDM ones? Or does anyone know of a good replica brand?

are you talking about just black housing lights?

I got a set of them off ebay from a company selling the "eagle eyes" brand... they fit like OE, look like OE and were direct drop ins, even came with new sockets... very pleased with them

you can see them here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/dig...of-the-is.html

and the stock HID stuff fits right in, btw

If you're talking about real JDM Altezza headlights... then you're talking a few hundred.... for a used pair. I don't think anyone makes a replica of those headlights... You're just going to have to find someone selling them. Although, I think there is a vendor on my.is that has a few pairs for sale.... $600 a piece though.

Our stock HID's do not fit. I bought a 9005 kit off of ebay for mine.

^^^agreed. Your gonna have to cut a couple wires and splice in the 9006 socket. You will also have to buy an HID kit for the 9006 bulbs as well. Our HID kit is D2R or D2S bulbs

GL

Also...
Your not gonna find cheap Authentic JDM parts. Whether it be headlights, or a grill. Your gonna spend a pretty penny for a used one. If you dont want to fork over the dough for a new one. Its not a honda or nissan where parts are everywhere under the sun. Rare = $$$$

The low beam bulbs are 9006 on the JDM headlights. 9005 is for the high beams, which is the same for both headlights.

I actually just soldered on our stock socket so my HID is plug and play..

The bottom one is how my HID kit came (with it's socket removed), then I cut the ones off my OE headlights and soldered them on (top one)

I like those eagle eyes. How long have you had them on your car? No problem with leaks or fogging?

I have had them for 4 or 5 months, no problems, would do it all over again... plug and play, factory HID, etc... good beam pattern too...

definitely... they are nearly identical to stock as far as the housings are concerned - they are direct fit replacements...

They come with a piece in place of the autoleveler, but the OEM levellers fit in place and retain full functionality
