I've been hearing a lot of good things about PBM coilovers from the nissan crowd and I was wondering if they were going to make some for the altezza/IS. Well they finally did. Has anyone placed an order, currently rocking them, or considering them? I want to hear some reviews/ thoughts. It's not a bad price at all either, making these one of the more affordable japanese made coilovers. I'm considering these myself.

Thoughts?

good grief that's low. I'm interested in hearing some reviews once more people get their hands on them. I wonder if they'll start making other suspension components for the IS?

ya my buddy is running pbm coils on his girls is300, so far they are really well made jdm coils for a reasonable price. alot of nissan heads love these coilovers for their high spring rates and because they have a shop here in the states. as far as i heard the coilovers are already out for the is300

I came from the Nissan community and i have heard great things about PBM. The general consensus is that the coils are pretty stiff, but that is all preference. I didn't know they made these for the IS300, seriously considering picking up a set now.

Orlando for now, moving back to Stuart after summer. How about you?

They're already pretty cheap, but let's see a group buy from a vendor!

I ran Power by Max on my both my 93 and 97 Nissan 240sx and they are stiff as in teeth chattering stiff. Yeah, some owners state their 1st gen coil overs are stiffer than the newer ones and vise versa, but bottom line when compared with other coil overs like Stance or BC Racing these are as I said teeth chattering stiff. Even if you go with their other softer spring rate options the coil overs are not a daily driver comfy ride.

BUT track wise, yes I have nothing but good things to say about the coil overs. Autocross, drift, touge, full track, and gymkhana application is perfect. I also ran all of their suspension arms and links and solid bushings.
