i have a 02 is300 and has tendincey to shift halfway inbetween drive and manual mode, if you not careful and shift into drive to hard. ive noticed this several times after shifting into drive when it started to rev high and the D on the shifter was not highlighted like it should be when the car is placed into drive. the car also had trouble shifting to fifth from fourth when i got down on it to go around some people. my buddy was telling me he seemed to remember the car throwing some sort of neutral senor code last time we scanned the car, so i didnt know what may cause these issues. maybe a shift linkage, or the computer is somehow reading the trans is in neutral when the shifter and trans would be in drive. i have no idea any help would be great.
